Ordering
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payments by Visa or MasterCard. All our prices are in Canadian dollars. Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard pre-authorization check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfill the transaction. The pre-authorization is completed once the order has been packed and is ready to be shipped (exception for few events where we charged your credit card to protect our business against fraud online). If the billing or shipping informations are incorrect or incomplete, we will contact you to confirm them before your order is shipped
Do you charge sales tax?
Orders shipped outside of Canada are not subject to any sales tax. Orders shipped to Quebec are subject to 5% GST and 8.5% QST on the purchase amount or a total sales tax of 13.925%. Orders shipped to Ontario are subject to 13% HST, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are subject to 15% HST. Bristish Columbia taxes are 12% HST. Orders shipped to other Canadian provinces or territories are only subject to 5% GST.
Will I receive confirmation once my order is processed?
Check your e-mail for an order confirmation. The e-mail will include an order number for your records. Remember to change your e-mail settings to accept all e-mails from Stylexchange.com. Although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products. If we are out of stock, we will notify you with a separate e-mail or phone call. You will only be billed for items that are shipped..

Out of Stock
Although we intend to only show you product available online to order, occasionally more popular styles may become out of stock due to high demand which may cause canceled items on your order. If You will be contacted via email after your Online Order Confirmation has been sent notifying you of an item canceled.


Shipping
What are your shipping guidelines?
Orders placed after 1pm may be processed the following business day. Shipping timelines are subject to credit verification and product availability. We will contact you with a follow-up email or phone call if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification.
What carrier is used for shipping?
Stylexchange.com uses Canada Post or UPS for domestic and international. UPS is unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses, as well as PO Boxes. UPS does not deliver on Saturday, Sunday or holidays.
What are the requirements for free shipping?
Stylexchange.com offers free shipping on domestic orders over $75. See shipping table below for details.
What is the cost of shipping for my order?
Use the shipping table below to calculate shipping costs.
To protect our customers from potential credit card fraud, all orders with different shipping and billing addresses will need to be verified. You will be contacted by our customer service department to do so. In addition, no orders will be shipped with out a valid telephone number.
United States orders

What are the guidelines for US shipping?
Risk of loss and title for merchandise shipped internationally will pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information.
When ordering from Stylexchange.com, you are the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. You authorize us to designate a carrier to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise and advance (on your behalf) any duties and taxes owed by you. Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how your order information is used and shared. We would like our international Customers and Customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as description, to our international carriers, and this information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

Will I have to pay customs fees on my order?
Orders over 200$ will probably be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when it arrives. Unfortunately, Stylexchange has no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.

The shipping charges you pay to Stylexchange do NOT include customs fees, import taxes, brokerage fees, or duties. If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned to Stylexchange and we will be charged the customs fees plus return shipping costs. Therefore, we do not issue refunds for customs fees, shipping, or the cost of your order if you refuse to pay the customs fees.

Stylexchange has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. so please do not ask us to do so - we don't have this information. Please contact your local customs office if you need to know more.

It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please be familiar with the customs laws in your country before you order!

Do you have any shipping restrictions?
Yes.
  • Delivery is unavailable on Saturday, Sunday and federal holidays.
  • UPS is unable to deliver to APO/FPO and PO Boxes. A valid street address is required for prompt delivery.
Will I receive confirmation that my order has been shipped?
You will receive an e-mail confirming your merchandise has been shipped and an email from UPS or Canada Post with your tracking number.
Can I track my order?
You will receive an email from UPS or Canada Post with a tracking number. Merchandise can be tracked through the applicable carrier's website using the assigned tracking number.

Returns
What is Stylexchange.com's return policy?
Stylexchange.com wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We will gladly accept regular-priced and sale-priced merchandise for return as long as it meets the following criteria:
  1. Merchandise is in original condition and has not been worn, altered or washed.
  2. Merchandise has all original tags attached.
  3. Package is postmarked for return within 7 days of purchase.
  4. Underwear and swimwear are final sales.

We are not responsible for the loss or delay of packages being returned and suggest using a shipping service that provides a tracking number and insurance.

Online orders can be exchanged or refunded at our stores with an authorization. To get this authorization, please send an email to weborders@stylexchange.com. You need to bring this authorization, your order confirmation, a proof of the delivery date, and a piece of ID to return or exchange products in stores.

Shipping fees are not refundable.

Clearance section:
All products from the clearance section are final sale. There is no return or exchange possible.
International:
All the returned items should be declared as a "return of Canadian merchandise" on the customs declaration; returned items that don't have this mention on their custom declaration will be refused and returned to the sender. Shipping and customs fees are not refundable.
What is Stylexchange.com's return procedure?
Once we receive your return package with the email confirmation, we will promptly refund your credit card. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been processed. Please note that it may take up to 7 - 10 business days for your financial institution to post the transaction.

  1. Pack your item with the order confirmation email you received after you processed your original order.
  2. Ship your package to our office.
